The Book of the Year Award 2004

We want to know what YOUR books of the year were!

For the first time, we hope to give a brand new award for a children's book first published in 2004. We are currently inviting nominations for this award. If you have read a great children's book this year and you think the author deserves recognition, now is your chance to tell others about it.

The only stipulations are:

1. The book must have been published for the first time in 2004. Click here for a guide.
2. It must be a fiction book
3. It must be a children's book
4. The book must be in English

Please send your nominations using the nomination form below. At this stage you may nominate as many books as you like, as long as they meet the stipulations above. Anyone can nominate a book. All nominations must be received by January 28^th 2005. The long-list will be published on January 31^st 2005 and the first round of voting will begin on February 1^st.
